Beyond daily sports, the BDS organizes occasional events such as the TIME (inter-association tournament), the Soccer Cup, and a Handisport Day.

Ecricome Challenge

Opposing the business and management schools of the ECRICOME Group, the Challenge ECRICOME is now the 3rd largest student sports event in France. It is built around strong values such as commitment, integrity, effort, and solidarity.

In 2024, 2,500 students participated in the Challenge and in 2023, Rennes School of Business organized the 31st edition. Nearly 2,100 students from 7 cities in France gathered under the sun of Brittany to compete in 8 sports: athletics, football, handball, rugby, tennis, cheerleading, volleyball, and basketball. The 2024 edition welcomed 2,500 students, making it an exceptional event that highlighted the best teams from the Ecricome business schools.

4L Trophy Coordination

The “4L Trophy Coordination” association co-organizes with Désertours the largest student raid in Europe: the 4L Trophy Raid.

Marathon Vert

A flagship event in the Brittany region, the Marathon Vert brings together runners, volunteers, and partner companies during a two-day event that encourages local sports and strengthens regional ties. Young people from all over France, internationals from around the world, associations, professors, and school staff participate in the Marathon Vert.

High-Level athletes

Rennes School of Business is labeled “High-Level Sports Host Institution Brittany” by the Regional Directorate of Youth, Sports, and Social Cohesion and the Rectorate. Athletes can benefit from adjustments to ensure that high-level sports practice is compatible with their higher education.
