A Graduation Ceremony to remember: a moment for graduates to come together and celebrate their achievement
After almost two years of waiting due to the health situation, former students of Rennes School of Business who graduated in 2020 and 2021 were finally able to put on their gowns and mortarboard hats to celebrate their fantastic achievement in person !
Graduates from every programme
Such was the enthusiasm to participate, graduates came from across France, and from abroad, to participate in the three ceremonies that took place during the two days. Friends and family watched and applauded as each student walked on stage to receive their certificate.
Representatives were present from every programme of the School, along with a team of staff and technical support to make the event possible.
Some of the graduates were in for a surprise when video interviews with proud friends and families were broadcasted on the stage for all to see!
A celebratory atmosphere
Those who weren’t able to make it to the ceremony were also able to join in the celebratory atmosphere as the event was available to stream online, meaning that over 450 graduates and their families attended the ceremony from home. For anyone who wasn’t able to watch the event live, the ceremony will be available shortly via replay.
Stay tuned for more information about the next Graduation Ceremony which will take place in June for this year’s graduates !
For Thomas Froehlicher, Director General and Dean of Rennes School of Business: “It brought great joy and strong emotions to attend the graduation of both our younger alumni (initial training) and the more experienced among them (professional certifications and executive training). They graduated from Rennes School of Business in 2019 or 2020, and were keen to be present, along with their families, at this ceremony. Their patience has been rewarded today.
These graduation ceremonies are essential rituals of passage for our graduates’ attachment to their alma mater and their commitment to the Rennes SB Alumni Network, which is now enriched with more than 2,500 new active members. Our next ceremony will be held in June 2022 for those who have finished their studies at the end of the 2020-21 academic year.”
