Rennes School of Business protects its community against meningococcus B

In the context of managing the health situation linked to the increase in cases of invasive meningococcal B infections observed in recent weeks in the Rennes Métropole area, Rennes School of Business has announced to its community (students, parents, staff) the launch of a vaccination campaign on campus, in collaboration with the local health authorities. This initiative aims to protect students’ health and prevent the spread of the disease.

To emphasise the school’s commitment to this initiative, Rennes School of Business welcomed Yannick Neuder, the French Minister of Health and Access to Healthcare, to the school campus on Monday 3 March. During his visit, the Minister met with students who had volunteered to be vaccinated and took part in an open discussion with the student community in support of the vaccination campaign. The students present had the opportunity to be vaccinated in the presence of the minister, to ask him about the health situation, and to share their concerns.

This action is part of the Rennes School of Business’s commitment to guaranteeing the health and safety of all while reassuring students and their families. Yannick Neuder reiterated the importance of vaccination and the efforts being made to limit the spread of meningitis in the region.

Students will be able to get vaccinated from 4 to 6 March, from 10 to 13 March, and finally from 17 to 20 March for the first vaccination session, then for the second from 1 to 3 April, from 7 April to 9 April, and from 14 to 16 April on the Rennes campus, with qualified medical teams to ensure the rapid and safe care of students wishing to be vaccinated.
