Rise of the Executive MBA in the QS ranking
The Executive MBA at Rennes School of Business moves up the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking, one of the three most renowned rankings for rigor and objectivity
The annual World University Rankings, published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), is one of the three most renowned rankings for rigor and objectivity, alongside the Times and Shanghai rankings.
Rennes School of Business entered the ranking for the first time in 2020. Having climbed to 52nd place in Europe last year, by 2024 the programme had reached 38th place among European Executive MBAs.
Scoring high in specific criteria
To establish this ranking, schools are rated on various criteria. Rennes SB ranks above average on both executive profile and diversity. In these two criteria, the school ranks 6th and 35th respectively.
The “executive profile” of an EMBA is calculated based on the average number of years of overall professional experience, the average number of years of professional experience at the managerial level, and the percentage of the class with executive experience (C-suite).
The “diversity” criterion considers the gender of students (particularly the representation of women enrolled in the programme) and the number of nationalities.
