A look back at: Les Assises de la Parité 2022
On 28 June 2022, Rennes School of Business participated in Les Assises de la Parité 2022, an event which promotes dialogue, information and action in order to progress towards gender equality.
An event to promote gender equality
Les Assises de la Parité is an annual event organised by the International Women’s Forum association which aims to evoke issues of inequality between the genders and promote dialogue, exchange and progress towards gender equality in society and the workplace. This year, the French-language event took place online on 28 June 2022.
Workshops and roundtables on diverse issues
A series of talks, workshops and roundtables were organised on diverse issues, with external speakers coming together from a host of backgrounds and sectors to exchange on topics such as:
- Empathy, a performance lever
- Inequalities in companies: senior women doubly impacted
- Parity: the relationship with money
- Overcoming stereotypes and unconscious bias
- Diversity and parity, the same battle? How can we promote inclusion?
- Transformation and new jobs: the end of gendered jobs
Thomas Froehlicher, Director General and Dean of Rennes School of Business spoke during a roundtable on the subject of “Recruitment, retention, high potential… How to promote parity? »
Joining him at the roundtable were Caroline Evans de Gantes, Managing Director of the SeLoger Group and Meilleurs Agents (AVIV France), Robert Leblanc, CEO of AON, Laurence Usciati, Comex Member of the Pénélope group and Mélina David, Director of Human Resources Development of SFR.
The roundtable was animated by Claire-Elisabeth Beaufort, a journalist and television presenter for La Chaine Info (LCI).

Rennes School of Business’ commitments
Rennes School of Business is committed to promoting diversity and equality within its community and within society. Last year the School’s CSR committee organised Women in Society Awareness week, designed to raise awareness of important issues of gender equality among all the School’s stakeholders, from students to professors and staff, both male and female.
Equally, the HeForShe student club, part of the wider United Nations women’s solidarity movement for gender equality, is dedicated to raising awareness about gender equality, particularly by emphasising the importance of communication with men.
Gender equality within the Rennes SB community
Rennes School of Business continues to work towards complete equality between the sexes within its community. Its Gender Equality Index is made up of the following indicators:
- The pay gap between male and female employees 92,5%
- The breakdown of individual salary increases distributed to male and female employees 100%
- The breakdown of promotions distributed to male and female employees 100%
- The gender distribution of the ten employees with the highest salaries 50%
Rennes SB achieved a Gender Equality Index score of 91/100 points throughout the year in 2021.
