Rennes School of Business opens its new campus in the heart of Paris
A place of learning and exchange to unite students, graduates and professionals in the French capital
Rennes School of Business will open its new campus in Paris at the start of the 2021 academic year. The Breton School of Management aims to support its growth, strengthen its relationships with major international companies and alumni and to increase its range of Executive Education programmes.
Located in a 5-storey building at 9, rue d’Athènes, near the Saint-Lazare station, the new Rennes SB campus has a surface area of 1,500 m2, with classrooms and a dedicated space to accommodate the Alumni House. This will enable 22,500 alumni to develop their activities, helping promote the careers of both current and future graduates.
Strengthening links between students, alumni and companies
Like other main management schools in the French top 10, these new premises will allow Rennes SB to accommodate its continuous and initial training students, part-time, full-time or in work-study format, and to host its professional partners in dedicated spaces. This new location will also allow the School to be more connected than ever to major national and international companies in the Paris region, particularly supporting the growth of its Executive Education department.
Two Executive Masters will be available to professionals from 2021:
For students in initial training, this campus will facilitate access to the labour market and promote their rapid integration into one of the most dynamic areas in Europe. For international students, who make up the majority of students on the campus in Rennes, this Parisian building will be an additional element of attractiveness for the programme portfolio, particularly for the Masters of Science in Global Business Management and International Luxury & Brand Management.
For François Chatel, President of Rennes School of Business, “A new Rennes School of Business campus in Paris will bring the spirit of Brittany to the French capital. Our trademark, and our signature, “Unframed Thinking” is built on a philosophy of openness, curiosity, inventiveness and conviviality, expressing a desire to think “outside the box”. Our new permanent presence in Paris, therefore, allows us to extend, accelerate and amplify these founding ideas.”
An innovative, digital campus
The Paris campus will allow Rennes School of Business to showcase its innovative educational approaches, enhanced by digital technology. These cutting-edge methods, including the eLive system implemented in the autumn of 2020, will now respond to the needs of major international companies.
The operations will be managed by Mr Kirt Wood, an experienced campus manager whose mission will be to bring this new space to life, creating a strong Corporate footprint in a location where students, companies, speakers and graduates will come together.
