International students: France is ready to welcome you!
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, France has done everything to let you join your institution safely at the start of the academic year, whatever your country of origin.
Whether you are a student in long-term or short-term studies, a student in an internship or a researcher, you are welcome to France as of August 1st.
How can I come to France ?
Depending on your country of origin, the applicable procedures are different. You can know in real time the area to which each country falls.
Get tested !
If you are coming from a red zone, if possible, get tested before departure. You will protect your health and that of others, and your arrival in France will be easier.
Voluntary 14-day quarantine
If you are coming from a country in the red zone and have not been able to get tested, you must do a voluntary 14-day quarantine upon your arrival, meaning : stay at home as much as possible, avoid contact with others as much as possible, monitor your temperature and immediately report any symptoms to a doctor. It is advised to notify your accomodation in advance so that they can take appopriate mesures, if necessary (desinfection, ect.).
This voluntary 14-day quarantine aims to protect everyone’s health : let’s all be careful and responsible.
