A new label for Rennes SB
The EESPIG label distinguishes French private higher education institutions that are committed to student success.
Rennes School of Business receives the qualification of « Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest » (EESPIG).
This qualification created by the Law on Higher Education and Research (2013), allows to label the private institutions of higher education, non-profit, which are in contract with the State.
This label concerns in particular engineering schools and management schools. In 2018, EESPIG brought together nearly 6% of French students (160,000 students) and 10% of master’s graduates. As of January 1, 2019, 61 institutions had received this official qualification.
Student success
The EESPIG label distinguishes French private higher education institutions that are committed to student success.
The label certifies:
- the status of the establishment imperatively created by an association;
- selfless and not lucrative management;
- a commitment to be involve in the public service missions of higher education and research: initial and continuing training, scientific and technological research, guidance, social promotion, professional integration, etc.
“The EESPIG is a real recognition of our teaching model, which will also help to better guide young people and their families when they choose to further their studies,” explains Thomas Froehlicher, Dean of Rennes School of Business.
