Engagement & AI: ChooseMyCompany and Rennes School of Business join forces to explore companies’ GenIA maturity and its impact on employee engagement

ChooseMyCompany and Rennes School of Business are jointly launching the Engagement & AI project, an innovative initiative to analyse the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in companies and its impact on employee engagement. This pioneering project aims to identify organisations that are successfully combining technology, trust and commitment within their teams.

Every year, ChooseMyCompany gathers the opinions of over 700 companies through its HappyIndex®AtWork survey. In 2025, this survey will include an AI dimension, with three closed questions and one open question dedicated to analysing the penetration of generative AI in organisations.

This study, supported by Rennes School of Business and Les Echos, will make it possible to:

  • Measure the maturity of companies with regard to AI;
  • Understand employees’ perceptions of the integration of these technologies;
  • Highlight employers who are integrating AI in a responsible and inclusive manner.

A strategic collaboration for the professional future

Engagement & AI is part of a process of innovation and reflection on technological transformations in the world of work. “Generative AI is a revolution. It is crucial to understand its impact not only on processes, but also on individuals. This partnership with Rennes School of Business enables us to take an important step towards shedding light on business practices“, says Laurent Labbé, Founder and CEO of ChooseMyCompany.

For Adilson Borges, Dean and Executive Director of Rennes School of Business, “The integration of generative AI is transforming not only the practices of organisations, but also the skills required to evolve in this new context. As a Business School, our mission is to train the talents of today and tomorrow to understand and master these challenges. This project will enable us to support companies and employees as they move towards a future where technology and learning are mutually reinforcing one another.

An ambitious, structured project

Between January and May 2025, 100,000 employees from 700 companies will participate in a vast survey to share their views on integrating artificial intelligence within their organisation. The survey aims to identify the companies that are supporting their employees and getting them to embrace the new technologies. The results of this survey will be published at the end of June 2025 in a special supplement to Les Echos, with a detailed analysis and a ranking of the leading companies in this field.

To round off the project, the HappyIndex®AtWork awards will honour the most exemplary organisations at an awards ceremony, celebrating their commitment and excellence in the integration of AI.

A shared vision for a responsible future

This project reaffirms the convictions and commitment of ChooseMyCompany and Rennes School of Business to a future where technology and people co-exist harmoniously. The survey results will be made available to participating companies, strengthening their ability to innovate while remaining human-centred.
