Céline Azemar: the new Academic Dean at Rennes School of Business
In line with the 2018-2023 strategic plan, Rennes School of Business appoints Dr Céline Azemar as its new Academic Dean from 1 September 2021.
Dr. Céline Azemar joined Rennes School of Business in September 2020 as Head of the PhD programme following a 15-year career at the University of Glasgow – Adam Smith Business School. She previously held a number of academic responsibilities in close contact with the faculty, the direction of teaching programmes and in research, in particular the measurement of its socio-economic impact in the context of the British institutional evaluation system. She has also been a visiting professor at renowned international institutions (Asian Development Bank and IMF in 2015, University of Columbia in 2011, Université Catholique de Louvain in 2007)
Dr Azemar has an impressive portfolio of intellectual contributions and regularly participates in international conferences and seminars on topics of finance. She specialises in topics related to finance and economics, such as the study of international business taxation, multinational firms and tax evasion and her academic expertise and experience will help her to contribute to the strategic reform of Rennes SB.
